Rokinon 14, 24, 35, 50, 85mm Cine DSX Lens Bundle

This Rokinon Bundle provides four lenses that you can use to shoot images from wide shots to portrait; it includes Rokinon's 14mm T3.1, 24mm T1.5, 35mm T1.5, 50mm T1.5, and 85mm T1.5 Cine DSX Lenses that feature sharp optics and similar physical characteristics for fast lens changes. The lenses share a T-stop range of 1.5 to 22. The included lenses cover full-frame sensors. The lenses are suitable for shooting using available light, and as they all share the same exposure range, there is no worry when changing lenses you will also have to change your lighting or camera settings.

Aperture and focus scales are marked on both sides of the lens, which makes it easier for a focus puller to work either side of the lens. The lenses feature a multi-layer coating providing good contrast, a sharp image, and protection from veiling glare. Industry standard focus and iris gear rings share a common position across the lenses for quick lens swaps when working with lens accessories such as follow focus units. Focus and iris are manual only with no electronic focus or iris control by the camera, and the iris ring is de-clicked, which allows you to make smooth iris pulls during a shot.

Boasting a new compact and sleek design with matte black finish, ROKINON CINE DSX lenses offer additional welcome features including a rounded nine blade aperture for even smoother circular bokeh.

Lens mounts are now weather sealed, and Cine DSX lenses are even available in Canon RF mount. In addition, DSX lenses are fully compatible in terms of color rendition and gear placement with ROKINON CINE DS lenses.

24mm T1.5 Full Frame Wide Angle

This new DSX 14mm Lens produces sharply defned images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberrations and utilizes seven specialized elements, including Aspherical, High Refractive Index, Hybrid Aspherical, and Extra-Low Dispersion types. It boasts a dramatic 115.7° Full Frame rectilinear view and comes packed with ROKINON’s Cine DSX features.

The new DSX 14mm T3.1 offers a compact and sleek design with a matte black finish and a rounded nine blade aperture that renders soft, creamy circular bokeh. It also features a built-in petal shaped lens hood, and a wider focusing gear that is more comfortable when pulling focus by hand.

Lens mounts are weather sealed, and will be available for Canon RF, Canon EF, Canon M, Fuji X, MFT, Nikon F, and Sony E. In addition, the Canon RF mount model is equipped with a rear filter holder to allow the use of “gel” filters without vignetting.

DSX lenses were developed to support the increased capabilities of the latest DSLR, Mirrorless, and Cinema camera systems, and are an excellent choice for all types of filmmakers.

24mm T1.5 Full Frame Wide Angle

Utilizing a multi-layer coating process for consistent color rendition from lens to lens the Rokinon 24mm T1.5 VDSLR ED AS IF UMC II Lens answers the challenge of assembling a set of lenses over time. Features industry standard geared focus and iris rings that share common position with other Rokinon VDSLR lenses. To aid focus pullers who have to work both sides of the lens, the aperture and focus scales are marked on both sides of the lens.

This 24mm lens produces a 84.1° coverage when used with full frame cameras. Hybrid aspherical lenses render sharply defined images with a minimum of distortion and chromatic aberrations, with a minimum focus distance of just under 10" from the lens. A removable petal shaped lens hood provides flare protection when shooting without a matte box, the lenses threaded front accepts a 77mm filter ring.

Please note that some cameras may require that Shutter Lock be disengaged when using this lens.

35mm T1.5 Full Frame Wide Angle

The Rokinon 35mm T1.5 VDSLR AS UMC II Lens was developed primarily for film and video applications. The cine version of Rokinon's 35mm lens features industry-standard gearing for the focus and aperture ring, and the aperture ring has been de-clicked for smooth iris pulls. The aperture and focus scales have also been relocated to the side of the lens, where it is easier for focus pullers to read them.

This lens is compatible with full-frame sensors and can also be used on APS-C-sized sensors, where the 35mm-equivalent focal length will be 56mm. The optical construction incorporates two high refractive index elements and one aspherical element to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortion to produce sharper imagery. Additionally, a UMC coating has been applied to lens elements to minimize lens flare and ghosting for more contrast-rich images.

50mm T1.5 Full Frame

The Rokinon 50mm T1.5 AS UMC Lens is a fast manual focus prime lens. It provides a very fast maximum aperture of T1.5 for effective low light capture and shallow depth of field control and an 9 blade iris for attractive bokeh. Optimized for cinema and video applications, the focus and aperture control rings are outfitted with industry standard gearing, which provides an interface for working with a traditional follow focus. The aperture control ring has also been de-clicked, which enables smooth iris pulls. In addition, bright aperture and distance markings are printed on the lens barrel facing laterally to facilitate easier control by a focus puller.

The 50mm has a minimum focus distance of 1.5'. Internal focusing minimizes the effects of lens breathing, which insures a more consistent angle-of-view when adjusting focus. The lens is composed of 9 elements in 6 groups, including one aspherical element and one hybrid aspherical element to reduce aberrations. In addition, a lens multi-coating helps to improve light transmission reducing flare and ghosting. The filter thread diameter is 77mm.

With this 50mm lens, Rokinon introduces the DS series of cinema lenses, unifying their cine lenses in more than just name. Each of the DS branded lenses will offer the same alignment of their geared focus and aperture rings so that follow focus and other rig accessories won't need re-adjustment when swapping lenses. Also, each DS lens is tested to be color matched with the other lenses in the series and provide the same color and contrast when shooting video. Lastly, the lenses are marked with focusing scales on each side of the barrel for easier adjustment from either side of the camera.

It features a very fast maximum aperture of T1.5 and an 9 blade iris, for shallow depth of field with attractive bokeh. The focus and aperture control rings are outfitted with industry standard gearing, which provides an interface for working with a traditional follow focus. The aperture control ring has also been "De-Clicked", which facilitates smooth iris pulls.

The 85mm has a minimum focus distance of 3.6'. Internal focusing minimizes the effects of lens breathing, which insures a more consistent angle-of-view when adjusting focus. The lens is composed of 9 elements in 7 groups, including one aspherical element to reduce spherical aberrations. In addition, a multi-coated elements help improve light transmission.
